HTC01: Microsat/Cubesat Hatch Shutter for reliable protection of optics and devices

HTC01 is a hatch shutter with PC104 hole pattern designed to protect delicate optics during launch and spacecraft separation and deploy operations in orbit. It is safely operated by a spring loaded hinge and released by MMA (memory metal alloy) HDRM, it has dry contact PtIr (Platinum-Iridium) sensors that compress at 99.998% their length to insure a reliable seal in order to prevent the ingress of particles or dust to the protected device.

 

HTC01 can be operated by any GPIO/TTL signal (5V@0.1A) and comes with its own DSACTRL v2.0 controller (optional) for hassle-free, programming-free operation, the controller (TRL9 flight heritage since 2013) will receive a 5V TTL signal as control and the raw battery input as power to operate the hatch and will execute the release and deploy operations reporting to your OBC via TTL level dry contact sensors that you can receive on any GPIO entry with discrete values (0 or 5V).
